Ronald Freynik Obituary

FREYNIK
RONALD, on Dec. 27, 2003, after a courageous battle with Esophageal Cancer, of Collingswood, NJ. Ron is predeceased by his parents, Eleanor and Thomas; he is survived by his beloved wife, Carole (nee Abarelli); his son, Justin; his daughter, Lisa and son-in-law, Richard; granddaughter, Ashley; loving brother, Thomas Jr.; mother and father-in-law, Christina and Rocky; brother-in-law, Ronald; and many very special nieces, nephews and friends. Ron had been a Senior Technology Specialist with Cendant Mortgage Services. He found true friends within the Company and greatly enjoyed his time there. To honor Ron's wishes there will be no Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers, please send Memorial donations to either the American Cancer Soc.,1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, N.J. 08034 or the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis TN. 38105. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for all the kindness and support given to them during this difficult period. Words cannot express how deeply Ron will be missed. He will live in our hearts forever. 'And if I go, while you're still here. Know that I live on, vibrating to a different measure-behind a thin veil you cannot see through. You will not see me, so you must have faith. I wait for the time when we can soar together again both aware of each other. Until then live your life to it's fullest, and when you need me, just whisper my name in your heart and I will be there.'

Dear Lisa

Your Dad was the best. One thing I will always remember is that dry sense of humor. We all miss him very much. I hope to see you, Richie,Ashley, Justin and your mom real soon. Take care.

My deepest sympathy to the Freynik Family.

Ron was a very good friend of mine. He will be deeply missed. I hope the below poem I found can bring some comfort through this sad time.

Some people

come into our lives

and quickly go..

Some people

become friends

and stay awhile...

leaving beautiful

footprints on our

hearts...

and we are not

quite the same

because we have

made a good friend!!

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present

Dear Lisa,

Your relationship with your father was not just father/daughter; it was that of friendship, respect and love. During his long and courageous battle, he always felt the love of his family. He will always be with you and love you, that will never change. I can't think of just one word to describe him, but I always smile when I think of him and some of the conversations we had years ago, and the "look" he would give us with the head shake! He was quite a character, always knew what to say and how to say it! You and your family have been so blessed to have him. He will always be in your hearts.

Love,

Cheri

To the Freyniks:

Ron was very special to me. He fought a long hard battle. He was very brave through the whole thing. I got a lot of encouragement and support from him during my fight with Ovarian cancer. There is nothing that I can do to thank him and his family for the support they have given me. I wish there was a way I can do more for you guys.

To the family of Ronald Freynik.

Through Lisa Gabrieli, I and many people around the world, have followed Ronalds brave battle against a formidable foe.

It grieves me and the others in our EC support group that this disease we call the "Beast" has claimed yet another brave battler.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you, as you face the difficult months ahead without a much loved husband, father -- and friend.

Colin Pollard.
