tears come to my eyes to think of the loss ofRrussell. I worked for donna and Russell for a couple of years and I can help but smile when I think of how he liked to call me the "Butcher" and I got a kick out of calling him at home and joke about something . russell ALWAYS was kind and welcoming to me. He could make you feel part of the family. Donna no words could tell you how sad I am for you I know what he meant to you and what you meant to him . Anyone who ever sat in you kitchen around your table watching the two of you joke with each other or support each other with words of encouragement could see the love you have for each other. I' ll remember him drinking coffee in his kitchen calling me " Butcher " and chuckle and smark he would give me. Suzanne

I Recalled

I will Recall and share the good times we had growing up together.

I Recall when we where in 1st grade together and the Nun made us sit in the same seat because mom and dad could not afford to buy us 2 sets of books.
Mom really stormed to school and Italianated the Nun, and got us separate seats.

I Recall going over Uncle Phil’s, and our task was to cut down some apple tree branches, me being younger started to saw the same branch you were on the end of, and I cut through the branch first and you were on the ground laughing.

I Recall you were told not to sit on other people’s cars, but you did anyway for a while until you jumped off one car, and somehow your pants were ripped all the way off.

I Recall your first girlfriend.
You were always the ladies man.

I Recall you playing half ball with your Dad and he would get really mad at you because you could beat him.

I Recall we had to move out of South Philly to Bridesburg, and you did not have a problem making friends a year sooner then all of the rest of your family

I Recall the day you got your drivers licenses.

I Recall the 56 cases of beer in your friend’s station wagon, you and your friend Mike were heroes in the burg when you were sixteen years old.

I Recall when you met your wife, of course a younger girl.

I Recall your first child and he was Mom & Dads favorite child, you and your wife were so proud.

I Recall the years went by and you treated your children just like your Dad treated us growing up, you never pulled any punches with your children, like Dad did with us.
We as children were not taught to show too many loving emotions, but just like your brothers and sisters you tried your best to better love your own family as a father would, in your own way, so your wife and children could love you so much, and your children will now teach their children to love even more.

It will be Recalled that no matter what,
you stood by your wife and children and their children.
A loving husband and father, and grandfather!
And growing up, the brother who gave us all laughs,
And now you finally made us cry!
But I, Ernie will always “remember in place of RECALL” the good times!

Still Missing You

They say there is a reason
They say that time will heal
But neither time nor reason
Will change the way we feel.

For no one knows the heartache
that lies behind our smiles,
No one knows how many times
we have broken down and cried.

We want to tell you something
so there won't be any doubt,
You're so wonderful to think of
but so hard to be without.
We cannot bring the old days back,
when we were all together
The family chain is broken now,
but memories live forever.

A rush of wings
they flutter high
to touch the sun
and kiss the sky
A butterfly
is with us now
No more a caterpillar
upon a leaf
(Daddy (Russell) with angel wings
A soaring butterfly
with us they sing

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I will miss you deeply my dear friend.

To My Dearest Family and Friends:
Some things I'd like to say...
But first of all to let you know,
That I arrived Okay.
I'm writing this from Heaven
Where I dwell with God above,
Where there's no more Tears
or Sadness,
There is just Eternal Love.
Please do not be unhappy,
Just because I'm out of sight,
Remember that I'm with You,
Every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you,
When my life on Earth was through,
God picked me up and Hugged Me,
And He said I Welcome You.
It's good to have you back again,
You were missed while you were gone,
As for your Dearest family,
They'll be here later on.
I need you here so badly,
As part of My big plan,
There's so much that we have to do,
To help our mortal man.
Then God gave me a list of things
He wished for me to do,
And foremost on that list of mine
is to watch and care for You.
And I will be beside you,
Every day and week and year.
And when you're Sad
I'm standing there,
To wipe away the tear.
And when you lie in bed at night
the days chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you
in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on Earth,
And all those Loving Years,
Because you're only human
they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to Cry
it does relieve the pain,
Remember there would be no flowers,
Unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you
of all that God has planned,
But if I were to tell you,
You wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain
though my life on Earth is o're,
I am closer to you now
than I ever was before.
And to my very many friends,
Trust God knows what is best,
I'm still not far away from you,
I'm just beyond the crest.
There are rocky roads ahead of you,
And many hills to climb,
But together we can do it,
Taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy,
And I'd like it for you too,
That as you give unto the World,
So the World will give to you.
If you can help somebody,
Who is in sorrow or in pain,
Then you can say to God at night,
My day was not in vain.
And now I am contented
that my life it was worthwhile,
Knowing as I passed along the way,
I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody,
Who is down and feeling low,
Just lend a hand to pick him up,
As on your way you go.
When you are walking
down the street,
And you've got me on your mind,
I'm walking in your footsteps,
Only half a step behind.
And when you feel the gentle breeze
or the wind upon your face,
that's me giving you a Great BIG Hug,
Or just a soft embrace.
And when it's time for you to go
from that body to be free,
Remember you're not going,
You are coming here to Me.
And I will always Love you,
From that land way up above,
Will be in touch again real soon...
P.S. God sends His Love

"SAFELY HOME"

In LOVING Memory Of;
Russell M. Tedesco Sr.

I am safely home in Heaven,
Dear ones...
Oh,
So happy and so bright!

There is perfect joy and beauty,
In this everlasting light.

All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed...
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.

Did you wonder why I so calmly
Trod,
The valley of the shade?
Oh!
But Jesus' love illimined...
Every dark and fearful glade.

And He came himself to meet me,
In that way so hard to tread...
And with Jesus' arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?

Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still...
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray to trust our Father's Will!

There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand...
Do it now,
While life remaineth...
You shall rest in Jesus' land.

When that work is all completed,
He will call you Home...
Oh,
The rapture of that meeting...
Oh,
The joy to see you come!
