Sally Bojanowski Obituary
Sally R.
Sally R. Bojanowski, age 87, of Heartland of Waterville, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 2, 1926, to Stanley and Genevieve (Suminski) Pietrzak. Her last place of employment was G.M. Transmission. Sally enjoyed music, dancing, bowling, cooking, traveling and playing cards. She was a former member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Temperance, MI.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; sisters, Mary, Louise and Betty; brothers, Clemens, Stanley, Zigmund and John. Survivors include her daughter, Debra (William) Stewart of Arizona, and son, Marvin (Bonnie) Bojanowski of Perrysburg; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday, February 27, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
The family would like to specially thank the nurses, staff and residents at Heartland of Waterville and the nurses and staff of Heartland Hospice for the diligent care and love they provided to Sally.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, 2500 N. Reynolds Rd. Toledo, OH.
