SARAH (nee Saphir) on Aug. 6, 2011. Wife of Meyer Kolodner. Mother of Janet Kolodner, Elliot Kolodner (Elana Dorfman), Stuart Kolodner (Deborah Simonds); Sister of Cecile Berman; also survived by 7 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Services Monday 11 A.M. JOSEPH LEVINE AND SONS MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 4737 Street Rd., Trevose. Interment Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will return to the late residence.

My deepest sympathies to the Kolodner family. Mrs. Kolodner was my bookkeeping teacher at NEHS, and in a way she inspired me to major in accounting in college. The first thing I remember her saying in class was, "When we open a new set of books, ..." Unfortunately, that set of books has now been closed. Rest in peace, Mrs. Kolodner.
