SARAH PORCHER Obituary
SARAH JANE (nee Harris), passed away on April 30, 2016 after a lengthy illness at the Manor at Bryn Mawr Extended Care Facility. She had just celebrated her 84th year of life two months earlier in February of this year.
Mother of four. Survived by her son Kenneth T. Lewis and daughters E. Maria Lewis and Audrey R. Nelson (Vincent). She was blessed to have had a host of loving grandchildren and great grandchildren, aunts and uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. Predeceased by her husband Willie Jones, eldest son Richard S. Lewis, mother Ethel Lewis nee Harris and father Phillip Lewis.
Sarah was born in Philadelphia, Pa. She belonged to Mount Zion Baptist Church, Philadelphia for many years before taking ill. She loved gardening roses, fruits and vegetables, cooking and music. May you rest in the arms of the angels as Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior welcomes you into the Kingdom of our Lord. We love you mom.
Sarah's funeral service will be 5:00 P.M. Saturday, May 7th at THE RIGBY HARTING & HAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 15 E. Fourth St. Media, PA. Friends may call from 4:15 - 5 P.M.
