To Sarann's Family. We are so sorry for your loss. Sarann was such a nice person and we so enjoyed being with her every year, when a group of us got together at the Jetty Motel in Cape May. We surely will miss her. Linda and Charlie O'Carroll

My Dear Sarann, When I was growing up Mom (Mary Frances Meloney) use to always talk about her red headed cousin with the infectious laugh. The stories of your shared experiences in the jungles of Bolivia and at our cabin in Colorado were ones that provided me with my initial insight into your incredible sense of humor & joy of life. The multiple suitcases you packed with dresses & heels to spend a vacation in the middle of the San Juan National Forest in a log cabin equipped w/ an outhouse became a family legend; as well as your complaint of the trains that ran all night & kept you awake (finally believing that there were no trains 8,000 feet up -but only the wind in the pine trees). I was fortunate & blessed to have the opportunity to get to know you as an adult. Your cheerful spirit & love of life were, and always will be, an inspiration to all those you touched. Please hug Mom for me.

To the Skipp Family. I'm deeply sorry for you loss here on earth. It sounds to me that your Mother/Grandmother touched many lives and lived a purposeful life. May cherished memories together help you through this difficult time. R.I.P. Mrs. Peters.

Sarann, your presence is still alive in BMH's L&D. A generation of nurses looked up to you, and you responded by sharing your humor, wit and knowledge not to mention that infectious laugh and smile. Walking in the halls you said hello to everyone and smiled, now they teach classes on that! Peace be with you and say hi to Russ for me! Godspeed.

Thank you for being a great mother-in-law. Not the kind of mother-in-law that was hard to get along with, not the kind so many often tell of horror stories. You accepted me into your life, and for that I am grateful.
You were an integral part of our children's' lives. I know our children remember you fondly, for the many visits and the comfort of having you so near. It seems that family should all be so close, so reachable, for in tough times, as in good times, sharing times with those you love should be so quick so as not to miss a moment or opportunity. Every Christmas, every Easter, every Holiday, we were able to share with you, without the kids ever having to travel in a car for hours. You never missed a school play, a musical event, etc. because as their Grandmom, you enjoyed those times as much as they enjoyed having you at those events.
I will remember our trips in the car together, both of us humming along to the Frank Sinatra music, and both reminiscing of how things used to be, or at least from each of our own memories of how things were, during our "good old days". You shared many things of history, from a perspective of having lived through those times.
You were always there for us, and we will always appreciate what you have done for us, and more importantly, for our children. They will carry forward memories of how family should be, and having a grandmother as part of their children's lives is deep in their thoughts.
I'm sorry this day has come, although for you a new journey has begun. God has a plan for all of us, and while we never know what that plan is, our faith tells us that that God is the one who decides this. So while I will miss you, and miss the many good times and visits over these last 20+ years, I will take comfort in knowing that you are at peace, in Heaven with God, and with all those who have already made the journey.
Love,
Steve

Sarann Peters is a beautiful soul who will always be remembered for her compassion and friendly nature. As her granddaughter, I feel incredibly blessed to have experienced the opportunity to get to know her. My memories of her will always be positive ones -- it's peaceful and beautiful to reflect on times talking together, taking vacations to the beach together, and celebrating accomplishments together. I'm grateful for the role she played in forming my personal ideals of the importance of family, which is undoubtedly a meaningful pillar around which I base my own life in the present. Although no longer with us, the love she shared in her life lives with every soul she met.
