Dr. Alblaza performed open -heart surgery on me when I was 17 in 1981. He did for my father as well. He saved my life. I wish I could've thanked him again as an adult. God bless you in Heaven. Patricia Ryan Fabbia

We are sorry to learn of Dr. Ablaza's passing. My mother called me as soon as she read this. We have very fond memories of him. He was a household name in our family for many years. He performed open heart surgery on my grandmother in 1972 or so. My family adored him. May his memory be a blessing.

Please accept our deepest condolences to the family of the beloved Lolo Arding. I just found out from my Captain the other day. Lolo Arding saved the life of my Lolo, Cirilo Sulit (my mother's father). He performed a miracle with his surgery and gave our family a several more years to share. Lolo Arding was beyond a great cardiac surgeon and teacher. He was always a genuine and caring uncle to my late father and mother (Pablo and Perlita Ablaza) and a grand Lolo to me and my sister, Maria, during our younger years. Although, life, time, and distance may have separated us. We are grateful to have shared a part of the life of this beautiful man. Lolo Arding (Dr. Sariel) will remain in our prayers as well as all of you, his loving family, our family. Eternal rest grant unto Lolo Arding O Lord...May he rest in eternal life with Christ Jesus!
In sympathy, love, and prayers,
Paul and Marilyn Ablaza
(son of the late Pablo Ablaza and grandson of the late Salvador Ablaza of Hagonoy Bulacan)

I have fond memories of Dr. Ablaza. As a medical student, I had the privilege of working side-by-side with him in the operating room. He was a kind man and a wonderful teacher. I shall never forget him. God bless him and his family.
