Mrs. Reynolds, Tommy, & Don:
There are so many things that I want to say, but I don't think that anyone has ever quite figured out the words to describe Sean. I know that I'll be forever looking back to my years at the Prep as the best of my life, and the friendships I made there as more significant than any since. I hold the memories of that time as my most cherished possession, and good or bad, I can't think of one that didn't involve Sean in one way or another. We all loved him, followed him, and looked up to him. I can honestly say that until then I had never met anyone like Sean before in my life, and I don't expect to ever again. Thank you for all of the Saturday and Sunday morning breakfasts. Thank you for your all of your hospitality and patience with us. But most of all, thank you for Sean.

To Mrs. Reynolds, Mr. Barlett, Tom, and all of Sean's family,
Although it's been a while since I've seen Sean, his path and mine were similar for many years. Good ol' bus no. 4982 to Waldron was a regular route for me for many years, and I remember Sean running out of the house just as the bus was going to pull away (at times, it was interesting to see how much patience the bus driver had).
So many of us Waldron people went to the Prep, and I'd see Sean around occasionally, but we still had the same common Waldron bond. I remember him always saying "hi" when our paths crossed because of our common educational history.
The last time I saw him was about 3 years ago, in the dining hall at Georgetown, when some Prep students from Catholic U. came over to visit the Prep grads over at G'Town. Even after many years, he still took the time to say "hi" and find out how I was doing.
There aren't enough words of comfort one can give. I can only assure you that the prayers of my family and friends are with you in this time of need.
May God show His ever-loving kindness upon all of you, and may the power and comfort of the Holy Spirit be with all of you in this time of need.

Even though I haven't seen Sean in a long time, my Waldron class is like a family to me and he was part of that family. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Sean was one person I always admired. He impacted each person he ever encountered and I will always hold onto the light within his smile. May he rest in peace and forever be remembered with a smile.

Dear Sean, I was your Aunt Sally and I only met you once at my Father's funeral (your Grandfather, James Reynolds). I can still picture you walking in with your Mother and your brother Tommy. You were about 10 years old. I will always miss the fact that I never got to know you and your brother. May you rest in peace. My prayers will continue to include you and your family. Love, Aunt Sally and your cousins, Julie, Kristen and Gary.

I didn't know Sean very well but thought he was a good man. He was kind and seemed to care a lot about his big brother Tom, who is my friend. My family and I pray for his family, especially his mom, step father, and my good friend Tom, in this time of deep sorrow and hope God may comfort them in some way.
With love,
Joe Maloney
