To Shane's parents
I just came across this on someone's Facebook page. This is 2024 now I remember when Shane went missing my son was out with him that night. I remember them searching and searching and searching and I asked my son everyday if there was any news. Until the devastating news that they had found him I can't even imagine the sadness. My heart is with you and your family. Especially around this Thanksgiving holiday. I will pray for you you are in my thoughts.

Dear Montgomery Family
I thought about your dear son as Thanksgiving was approaching and even when Thanksgiving had passed. He is on my mind daily and I remember him in my prayers. He should be here with his family, and friends and enjoying the oncoming Christmas season. The picture of Shane that is shown is how he is smiling down on his loving family and wanting all of you to know he is happy--it is always the ones who are left behind that grieve and pine for their beloved lost ones. God bless you and yours Shane. I along with many others will always remember you.

I didn't know Shane or your family but followed your story daily in the news. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I also have sons, one of which lives in Manayunk. This story was close to my heart and brought me great sadness for your family. I cannot imagine the years ahead without your son. I wish you peace.

Karen, Kevin and Family: I prayed for Shane while missing and still pray for him every day. Along with prayers for Shane, there are prayers said for the entire family. Still seeing those green ribbons on trees, poles, etc. breaks my heart. Your everlasting love for Shane and each other will be your guiding light. My sympathy and condolences to all. God bless you.
