Stanford Sheptak Obituary
STANFORD P. age 72 of Yeadon formerly of S. Phila. and Berwick, PA. Korean War Veteran. Former employee of Gulf Oil. Husband of Elizabeth (nee Danoy) Sheptak. Father of Gordon A. (Carol) Sheptak, Gary M. Sheptak and Julie A. (Bill) Delaney. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and brother Michael (Judy) Sheptak and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call for his Viewing Thurs. eve. 7 to 9 P.M. at the LOGAN FUNERAL HOME, 57 S. Eagle Rd., Havertown, Pa 19083. Services and interment will be held in Berwick, PA. In lieu of flowers family prefers contributions to Run 4 Your Life, Foundation for Breast and Prostate Health, c/o Runners' Advocate, 2005 Country Club Drive, Doylestown, PA 18901.

I am so sorry for your loss. I've met Stan a few times at Kerry's sport events. He was always a very pleasant man. Always greeted you with a smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I am greatly saddened by Sheppie's passying. We worked and played together for many years ' He never had a harsh word for anyone except when one of Philly sport teams would perform below our hopes. I left the area 14 years ago and unfortunaetly I lost contact after a few years but I had heard of his health difficulties and prayed that he would overcome them which he did for a few years.He was a great softball pitcher who carried us to a championship many moons ago.His cry of WATCH OUT! when one of his pitches would get away from him still resonates in my mind. Hopefully those happy moments will be the dominate thoughts that remain with u and your family as u remeber him in the long run.

Dear Julia, Bill, Kerry & Liam,
I'm so sorry for your lost,and I know that he will be a great loss. I also know that you all will meet again. I will especially miss talking to Stan on the phone after one of the Philly teams had lost a game, he would call the office to see how Bill was holding up. We would have a great laugh. I never meet him in person but I feel like I have known him for years. God Bless you and hold you in his protective arms.

Lis,Bill.julie,Kerry and Liam, Buford and I (connie) will really miss Stan. Rose St. will not be the same. He was a great neighbor and friend,and father. He loved his family so much and can not be forgoten. I will not be able to cut grass without thinking of him for the rest of my life. May God keep you all close to heart and if ever we are needed please touch us.

Our prayers are with you at this time of sadness. Stan was a wonderful person and we always enjoyed talking to him and watching him spend special times with Kerry and Liam. He will be a the missing link in your lives but know that his suffering is over and he is in a better place where he can still watch over each of you. May God help you all through this tough time.

We met Stan many times at Kerry's sports games, and he was always such a sweet man. I know he was a wonderful father and grandfather, and he will be missed so very much. Stan, Julie, Bill, Kerry, Liam and Julie's Mom are in our thoughts and prayers.
