I'm pretty sure that Eggy was one of about 12 of us guys who rented motel rooms in Wildwood for senior week. I remember coming back to the motel our first night of the week, and the motel owner was in the process of evicting us. And evicted we were. After that week Steve and I didn't keep in touch. But I'm sure that throughout his life , he would have stayed the same person I got to know throughout the 12 years of school we attended together. He had a way about him that becoming friends with him was the easiest thing in the world to do. And for that I am thankful and proud to say Stephen was my friend.

So sorry for your loss. Eggy was such a genuinely nice person and will be missed by many. We hope the love of family and friends will help all of you with your journey through the grieving process. Remembering all the good times may also help. Again we are truly sorry for the loss of your husband and father and a friend to many. Rest in peace Eggy.

Our deepest condolences to Debbie, Erin, Alex and the whole extended family. We know he put up a great fight against the C monster and loved you all very much. I'll always remember his genuine kindness and humor. It was our honor to sit on the benches of Mules volleyball and pregame bar stools with Steve and Debbie. We wish peace to his family in his eternal hugs.

I barely knew Steven and Debbie and at this moment I couldn´t be more sorry that we didn´t spend more time together. I live a few houses down in Sea isle City. I went to the beach yesterday and it was just a gut punch to me to see his lovely memorial. I feel somewhat devastated about losing him. The day he wore his lemons, we had lemons too and he bounced over to take pictures. He coined the phrase Steamboat Willie! So we could find our way home.. and if we missed that, we always had his flag! Just a lovely, lovely man. The world is a little less interesting without him in it, Debbie, I can´t imagine your sorrow

I was proud to have Steve as a vital member of our Rio Brands team for many many years. He was a beloved personality who brought a smile and can-do attitude to work every day that inspired respect from those who worked for and with him. I actually remember his job interview and thinking "I should take a chance on this guy" and surprising him by offering him the job right on the spot. I was proud to watch his career develop, handle change like a pro, and always demonstrate care and concern for those around him. Steve was very loyal to me and knew that I felt the same towards him. My sincere condolences to the family. I, among many, will miss him.

Steve always was ready to make a joke or funny comment. He was one of the nicest people I´ve ever met and he always made people feel welcomed. I know he loved his wife and was a loving father. He told me he cried like a baby when his daughter got married and I loved that. He will be greatly missed. So sorry for your loss
