Our family was saddened to learn of Dr. Woodruff's passing. He delivered both of our sons and we held him in high regard as a physician and a human being. Our sympathies go out to his family and staff.
Sincerely,

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Dr. Woodruff's family. Dr. Woodruff was my doctor for my first two pregnancies. Although he didn't deliver my children, he made a point to stop by my room to see how I was doing. I found comfort in his practical, compassionate style and he could always make me laugh.

My sympathies to the family and friends of Dr. Woodruff. He delivered my beautiful first born, Shannon Victoria, in January 1997. It was a scheduled c-section for the morning after the Super Bowl that year. When we had the appointment to schedule the procedure I joked with him saying not to party too much on game night. I would occasionally run into him about town with my "Super Bowl Baby" and introduced her to the doctor that delivered her. We have all lost a dedicated doctor and fine person.

I was saddened to hear of Dr. Woodruff's death. My son Brian informed me of his death. Dr. Woodruff delivered my son at Chestnut Hill Hospital 27 years ago. I had had a precipitous labor and had to be rushed to the hospital by paramedics. They had phoned the hospital asking for their nearest obstetrician. I was greeted at the hospital by Dr. Woodruff who delivered my healthy son 5 minutes after I arrived by ambulance. Dr woodruff was a very kind, competent physician. I extend my sympathies to his family.
