STUART EDWIN BECK

BECK STUART EDWIN On April 12, 2024. Beloved husband of Elaine Beck (nee Kushner). Loving father of Adam (Jill), Barry (Marla) and Caroline (Robert) Zuritsky. Devoted Gramps, Poppy and Grandpa to Maxwell, Goldie, Sasha, Ariel, Sophie, Luc, Haley, Harrison, Emma and Hannah. A graduate of Overbrook High School (1958), Stuart received an engineering degree from Drexel University, where he met the love of his life, Elaine; they married in 1964. Stuart received his law degree from George Washington University, worked at the patent office, and then began his lifelong career as an intellectual property lawyer. He was a professor at Rutgers Law School, a lecturer at the Paralegal Institute, and served on charitable boards such as Lawyers for the Arts, JFCS, and Beth Hillel. Stuart was instrumental in the founding of many companies such as Universal Display [NASDAQ:OLED], and guided his two sons to become entrepreneurs: Adam and his partner founded USM Services [NYSE:EME], Barry and his wife, Marla, founded Bluemercury [NYSE:M], and he provided helpful advice to his daughter, Caroline, and his son-in-law Robert Zuritsky (Parkway). Stuart loved to study art, history, the American West, and the Civil War. Stuart loved to travel with Elaine and his family, spend time with his children and grandchildren, and share with them his passions and wisdom. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service on Wednesday, April 17, precisely at 10:30 A.M. at Temple Beth-Hillel Beth El, 1001 Remington Road, Wynnewood, PA 19096. Interment Mt. Sharon Cemetery, Springfield, PA. Following the interment, Shiva will be observed at the home of Caroline and Robert Zuritsky on Wednesday from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and at 5:30 P.M. with Services at 7:45 P.M. Shiva will continue at the home of Jill and Adam Beck on Thursday from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. and at 5:30 P.M. with Services at 7:45 P.M.
