Our prayers and wishes of comfort are with the Tobin Family. Terry will be missed and each day that I grow in my businees and my life I always think of the techniques he taught me as well as making decisions as a single parent. I pray that his children and grandchildren realize how much he loved them and being a strong individual was always his motto. "Keep your head up, sit down, and evaluate the problem, we will get through this." I am sadden to find out about his passing so late, but me knowing Terry, he would understand. You see being busy kept us happy. Lil Danny and Theresa it will be okay. Love ya

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the Tobin Family. I'm sure your loved one will be missed but never forgotten. Terry's passing may be your loss but truly God's gain as he obviously was a good person in many ways.

I was so sad to learn of Terry's passing. He and I spent many hours together working on various committees and special events in Frankford back in the 1990s. He was so committed to the good of the community, whether it was the community in which he lived, or the one in which he worked. The world is a sadder place without him. Please accept my sincere sympathy.

To the Tobin family,
Terry was an icon to the Frankford High School community. We were so blessed to have him work with us as a friend and colleague over the last few years to ensure that the school celebrated it's 100th anniversary with style and class.
He was a man with a very big heart and soul. We know that he will watch over his family and friends from heaven and guide us as we move forward.
He is very sadly missed,

My prayers go out to the family of Terry. Althrough I haven't seen or talked to Terry, I do remember Ice skating with him ,David,Carol Ann,Ruth. And as I was just looking in the 1962 year book . His words were good luck to a good skater which i was not, almost took Carol Anns leg off.again my prayers to the family.

Tacony was a better place because of Terry. His tireless efforts brought a struggling Vogt C.A. from disorganized chaos into prominence in the Northeast. No one in Tacony can forget what was done by him at Vogt. God bless you, Terry. We're all grateful for what you did for us and are better people because we've shared your friendship.

Terry, we didn't always see eye to eye but we both had a goal in common, to help make things better. We had very different methods and beliefs but we were able to put that aside and work together over the years. Frankford lost a friend in you Terry. May you Rest in Peace and may God bring comfort to your family.

Terry was such an important person in Frankford and to Frankford. He loved the community and did everything he could to help it come back from hard times. Our students loved swimming at the Y and still ask when it will reopen. Rest in peace, Terry, your job is over and was very well and lovingly done. The whole community will miss you dearly.

I stumbled upon Mr. Tobin's obituary looking for someone else who had recently passed. Back in 1999, I was in a welfare to work program with Frankford United Neighbors CDC. During that time, I was sent to NFCY to do some admin work. Mr. Tobin was one of the reasons I was able to regain my self esteem and finally make something of myself. I will never forget what he did for me and Im sure that he instilled that in others as well. He was truly a great person and a mentor. Thank you Mr. Tobin, for what you've done for me. Rest in peace, you fly with the angels now.

Terry Tobin AKA The Big Cheese is one of those few people in life you meet and say to yourself Wow he is a really great person to be around. He was the first one to help you in your time of need. Hewas always there for you with either a kind word of wisedom or a dose of tuff love. He was like a father or let me say dad to many people.( i was one of them). The world has lost an angel

Tammy, Danny and families, My deepest sympathy on the passing of your dad. I think at one time or another he coached most of the neighborhood. He not only gave his teams tips on the game but also a bit of wisdom to take along with them through life.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Terry was a wonderful man. I did the National Honor Society for Frankford High School for over 10 years and Terry always made sure we had the money from the Alumni for the Kids to receive their gifts but above all he was always present to support the top students of Frank ford High School.
