WEBSTER


THEODORE L., on June 28, 2012, age 87, resident of Haddonfield, NJ for 45 years, formerly of Haddon Heights, NJ, Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Lewi); Loving father of Linda Gilchrist (Wayne) of Marlton and Theodore L., Jr. (Donna) of Tansboro, NJ; Devoted grandfather of Jennifer and Scott Gilchrist and Michael and Matthew Webster; dear great grand-father of 2 and brother of Mary "Molly" Parker, E. Kessler Webster, Jr. and Elizabeth "Betty" Bolster.
Mr. Webster was a natural athlete, who was captain of the Moorestown Friends High School Baseball Team and where he played Varsity Basketball. He began college at Lehigh Univ., but left to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He flew 50 missions as a Bombardier and Navigator of a B-24 with the 376th Bomb Group in Europe. Mr. Webster was awarded The Air Medal, The Distinguished Flying Cross and the Unit Citation Medal with 3 Clusters. Following the war, he returned to Lehigh Univ. and graduated in 1946. He began his career at Warren Webster Heating Co. in Camden and earned his C.P.A. Mr. Webster spent most of his career at Cooper Hospital, first as Asst. Administrator and then as the Treasurer. He had been an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield for over 70 years and with the Haddonfield Y's Men for over 50 years.
Mr. Webster's favorite past times were duck hunting, fishing, vegetable gardening, lying on the sofa watching the Phillies, Flyers or Sixers with Nancy while eating some of her great home cooked goodies and meals.
Mr. Webster's family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 3rd, 9:30 to 10:45 A.M., at KAIN-MURPHY FUNERAL SERVICES, 15 West End Ave., Haddonfield, NJ; where his Funeral Service will follow at 11 A.M. Interment, Colestown Cem., Cherry Hill, NJ. Memorial donation may be made in Mr. Webster's name to his church: First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield, 20 E. Kings Hwy., Haddonfield, NJ 08033 or to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuth-bert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
