THOMAS CARROLL Obituary

CARROLL THOMAS E. "TOM" Age 77, former Chief Executive Officer of Mediq Inc. and executive at Johnson & Johnson, transitioned to his final resting place on September 2, 2021, in San Diego, CA where he lived the past several years. Tom was born in New Jersey but lived most of his years in Malvern, PA. He forever cherishes the loving connection to his wife of more than 54 years, Amy, who survives him. Their everlasting love shines on into eternity. His sons Thomas, Steven and Richard continue to build lives and families that fill their father with pride and joy – his everlasting spirit surrounds them, his daughters-in-law, and eight grandchildren with happiness. Brothers Dennis, Walter and Michael live on as his brotherly soul showers them with love and admiration. Coach, engineer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, board member, mentor, world traveler, gardener, wine-aficionado, part-time lumberjack, and avid fan of the New York Giants (even though he lived in Eagles territory for over 40 years) – Tom had a zest for life. Known for his story telling, gregarious presence, compassion, and family-first approach, Tom's memory sustains the sands of time. Tom passed from complications related to advanced dementia – a debilitating condition he hopes his passing can bring more awareness and understanding. We wish him well on his next journey as his life lives on in all of us.
