My dear friend and often companion, I am saddened to learn of your death.
You were my best friend for fourteen years during our time in Valley Forge. We had so many adventures and I will always treasure the memory of our night fishing trips.
Thank you for being there for me in the good times and the bad. Thank you for sharing your family with me; I was honored to have known both your parents and all of your sisters.
I am grateful that we reconnected a few months ago and were able to speak If only I had known it would be for the last time.
I will miss you and carry you in my heart wherever I go.
I loved you.
