Dear Donna and Boys:

I just heard of Tom's passing and I am saddened to hear of your loss. I remember that St. Patrick's Day Move - In to Miriam Road, the many chats on the back porch and front stoop with Mom and dad and you.

I have fond memories of our friendship over the 40 plus years especially the many kindnesses you extedned to Mom and Dad. You were most generous and your friendship was much appreciated.

Your kind manner extended to Tom and Jim as they helped me with La salle Academy, a school in Lower Kensington, for children at high risk. Your legacy continues.

I will pray for Tom and Donna and the boys and their families. With great love and affection, Skip, jack and I will see you at the funeral.

TO THE KILKENNY FAMILY,
IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS THAT I WRITE THESE WORDS. LOSING THE BIG GUY WITH THE CONSTANT SMILE MUST BE DEVASTATING. YOU CAN TAKE SOME SORT OF COMFORT IN THE FULL LIFE HE LED AND HOW MUCH RESPECT PEOPLE HAD FOR HIM. WHEN THINKING OF JOINING THE MARINE CORPS THERE WERE TWO PEOPLE MY DAD SAID I SHOULD SPEAK TO FIRST. BIG TOM AND JOHN McCOLLOUGH.
NATURALLY I DECIDED TO JOIN. I WILL NEVER FORGET SPENDING NIGHTS AT THE KILKENNY HOME AND FELLING LIKE FAMILY. NOT TO MENTION THERE WAS ALWAYS PLENTY TO EAT.
MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL!

The Drumm family is very saddened to learn this news.

Mr. Kilkenny was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Beyond that, through his life of service to the labor movement and dedication to this country and to Ireland he served as a champion to those without a champion. That is to say, he was a great man

Our love and prayers go out to all the Kilkenny family - they are Thomas's finest legacy.

With love,

Christopher, Maureen, Bridget, Maura, Caitlin and Erin Drumm
