Christmas Without You
To My Loving Husband Tom:
My Love,
The Lights are blinking merrily
The tinsel's on the tree,
Its sits there in our living room
for all the family to see.
The house is filled with holly
and pinecone scents the air
the Christmas cards keep coming
Each one is hung with care.
The gifts are tied with ribbons red
and topped with pretty bows
I'm done with all the details
as far as Christmas goes.
Danny is waiting for Santa,
and the other boys excited too.
We all know that Christmas
will not be the same without you.
If I could have just anything
My Christmas wish would be
to wake up in the morning
and find you here with me.
Staring at your picture
I long to be set free
Tonight the tears are streaming
as I hold it next to me.
Snowflakes may swirl through the air
I will be braced for stormy weather
I will wait for brighter days ahead
when we can be together.
So hold a place in heaven my love
Someday when life is through
I will be the Christmas angel
Who shares Christmas Day with you!!
Merry Christmas Thomas
Love, Always and Forever

Margie,
We are all blessed to have known Tom. I met Tom at subamrine school and we served on our first sub together. Tom knew how to have fun in life and be serious with a smile. His love for photography rubbed off onto me. Whenever we were out his camera followed! May God bless you.

Dear Margie (Chris, Ryan, Nick and Danny)...
I sat here all morning trying to think of those special words that would help ease your pain at this moment, and I was blank. I sat here wondering what kind of things I could do for you that would brighten your day a little, and I came up with nothing. Words will come in time, and doing things together will come in time. But for today, right now, I want you to know that when you cry, I will cry with you. And when you need to talk, I will listen. When you need a hug, just reach for me, and I'll be there. It takes a minute to meet a friend, but a lifetime to build a friendship. Fortunately, most of the paths we have walked together were happy ones, and it is those happy paths that build the foundation for when the painful things in life surface. Hold on to the special times you and Tom shared, and learn from the trials that you two had to face. Your love was special. Tom was a great man and loved you and the boys very much.
Thanks to Tom's incredible talent on the computer, you have endless pictures of what you shared, watch them with happiness and remember Tom isn't far away. He lives in your heart and you get to take him with you wherever you go in life. It wasn't to long ago Tom asked us to watch a video he created..... his "I've Been Everywhere Man" video, which included pictures of all his journeys on his motorcycle. We laughed so hard because I told him he stole that idea and song from that TV commercial that was out at the same time he created the video. He swore he was the originator of that idea (we did believe him, but we just had to tease him for a while). I will not only take with me what a terrific man he was, I will take with me the vision of Tom hopping on his motorcycle, wind in his hair, traveling throughout places we can't even image here on Earth, having not a single care in the world.
Rest in Peace Tom.

Tommy,
As long as you are in my heart you will never really be gone.

Tom and I worked for the same company. I worked in Pittsburgh and he in Philadelphia. We were both into Motorcycles and I can remember I sent Tom a Picture of me with all my gear on with my bike. When I went to Philadelphia for a meeting, he had placed that picture up on the screen for everyone to see. I was so embarrased but we definitely all got a laugh over it. Tom was a great guy and he will be missed. He definitely was so proud of his step kids and he loved his wife Margie. My prayers are with his family in this time of sorrow.
