TRAM NGUYEN Obituary

NGUYEN

TRAM THUY "TINA", a resident of New York City, died tragically while walking in the West Village on March 17, 2015. Tina was only 37 and moved to New York City from Philadel-phia to live with her fiancé and work in real estate.
Tina is survived by her parents and brothers, Christopher and Phuong.
Tina was born in Arlington, Virginia on August 7, 1977 to Nguyen Thi-Ngoc Loan and Nguyen Tien. She was the first Vietnamese baby girl born at Arlington Hospital. Tina develop-ed her entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen early on by helping with the family restaurant as a teenager.
On July 12, 2009, she met her fiancé, Alejandro Beitler. They became instant sweethearts and he will forever be her knight in shining armor. They developed a deep love and admiration for one another, and were to be married on July 12, 2015.
Tina was a devoted daughter, sister, fiancée, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend to countless people. Tina was simply the best, and had an overwhelm-ingly positive impact on every-one she met. Tina had a way of making people better just by spending time with them. Her excitement and energy were contagious, and she was the first to lend a helping hand without any reservation to her own well-being.
Tina loved her family, fiancé, and friends and enjoyed numerous social events that involved food, art, and music. While her humble beginnings and numerous early challenges could have dampened her outlook on life, Tina used those experiences to become the loveliest person in the world.
Tina will be deeply missed by all who knew her and she will always be remembered. Tina's lively spirit and drive to become a better person will always inspire those who loved her.
Tina's family would like to thank all the extended family and friends that attended her Funeral Services at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Philadelphia. We extend a special thank you to Rev. Monsignor Hugh J. Shields, Rev. Joseph Dinh C. Huynh, McElvarr Funeral Home, the Vietnamese community in southern Philadelphia, the wedding party, and close friends that turned such a tragic event into a beautiful celebration of Tina's life.
Tram Thuy "Tina" Nguyen was the most beautiful bride. Her love for children was bound-less; donations in the name of Tram Thuy Nguyen are welcomed at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
