Hello,
Tonight I thought of your mother and did a search to see if I could find her to connect on facebook or some such thing. I am so very sorry to hear of her passing. We met at Moore in the photography department and I think one of the last times I saw her was by chance at Pennsylvania Hospital. It was by coincidence when Stanley was there.
We stayed in contact for years. I loved her passion, her photographs done at the academy. We had a party once for who knows what, probably an art opening and your Dad, Stanley, was the only person to call Harry, my husband to find out what I actually like to which Harry replied sherry. They arrived with a dry (fino) sherry and when I was thanking them in surprise and thankful that it was not sweet the reply was that anyone who really knew and liked sherry would of course like dry. This story is just a way of say how glad we were to know both your parents and how appreciative we are of the fact that they were people who listened and were open to knowing others, not to mention fun to hang out with!
Sincerely,
Smokie Kittner

Dear Debra, Pattie, Margaret - I worked for many years at the Opera Company with your Mother and together we spent numerous hours going over photos and chosing ones for various publications - we had a good rapport, some funny times, and many memories. I always respected her love of photography. Luciano never failed to remember her when he saw her and because he trusted her not to take "unwanted" photos of him, he always let her snap away. I send to you and your families my heartfelt condolences.
Warmly, Jane Grey Nemeth

Trudy,
I have somewhat recovered from the state of shock, but the sadness of losing you from our group will remain forever. You were young, vibrant, elegant, artistic, and very talented. Your love of Japan was very special to me, and when I saw you just before I left, I fully expected to tell you all about my trip when I returned. I deeply appreciated your understanding of the country's nature and people. May you find eternal peace and beauty where you are now.
Love, Cecilia
