All of what I said In 2012 is still true today but 9 years later and older. I still have my strong faith because of Rev. He instilled in me to keep Jesus close to my heart. Without Him I would be lost, especially with what we as a nation are going through. I know Rev would say that we need God today more than any other time.

Rev was such an poignant part of my life, as he was for so many others. He instilled such a deep faith in me from the start that even when I was angry at God and turned my back on Him in my early adult years, it was through his teachings and example, as well as God's grace that I came back to the fold and reaffirmed my faith.

Saturday's service was beautiful and brought back a flood of memories of my time at Roxborough Pres. Jeff, I could really hear your dad speaking through your words. Thank you for that.

Rev has not left behind just fingerprints, but a legacy. He will be missed by so many, especially his family. But he's now with the two he loved the most in this life...what a comforting thought that is.

I am so sorry I did not make it on Saturday as I found out too late. I would have been there. Rich, Jeff, Janet and Robert, I have known you all of my life and grew up with all of you. You already know that you had one of the best dad's there could be. I remember many fun times we had together but I know for sure that Rev is in the best place he could be and all of us will see him again someday soon. He was always there when you needed him and he will always be remembered. Keep the faith as youknow he did. Love you all. Melanie (Riggs) Del Borrello
Yes he held the ceremonies for my marriage twice.

Rev was a wonderful and comforting Pastor. I have many memories of him, as I have known him almost my entire life. The Lord was waiting to welcome home His faithful servant. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.

Rev was The example of how we should follow
our Lord. He had the best sense of humor, and always found a way to make us laugh (and love)On a retreat once, he recited the 10 Commandments with a huge spoonfull of peanut butter in his mouth. We are sorry for your loss, but happy for heaven's addition.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. It's been a long time, but I remember Rev well. May it be a comfort to you to know that he is now at peace with our Heavenly Father and with your mom.

Rev was such a unique preacher - capturing the attention and imagination of those of us in the Junior Choir with Mrs. Whitesel. I'm sure her job would have been much more difficult keeping us in line if it wasn't for the riveting sermons. I remember several - but one in particular was about "mission accomplished" and a kid in the balcony of a church making spit balls and aiming them toward the open mouth of a sleeping gentleman on the first floor of the sanctuary. I always wondered if it was a self revelation. What a wonderful role model, mentor, counselor, friend, child of God. Blessings and peace to the whole Maienshein family.

We will miss Rev. as we missed your mom. They were truly good and faithful servants of the Lord. Like so many others we were married and then after our daughter was born she was baptized and then married by Rev.. She grew up like I did at Roxy Pres. Many days were spent not only at church but also at the manse for myself as a babysitter for all 4 children. I enjoyed many times at both church and your home. What I learned from your parents - I have carried with me my entire life. My faith in Jesus came from Rev. and Mrs. Maienshein's teachings. Many good times also are kept with me and too many to list. I know that Ron also came to know the Lord through Rev. We are truly blessed for having him in our lives. We love you all and will keep you uplifted in prayer. Love, Ron and Elaine(Riggs) Moss

I have so many memories of Roxborough Pres and Rev. My parents were long time members and my husband and I were members until we moved. We were married by Rev and my children were baptized by Rev. I have so many wonderful memories of chruch retreats at Pennington Island, Trexler and youth outings. I would be hard to think of those without thinking of Rev. I babysat Janet, Jeff and Robert. Our thoughs and prayers are with his family. Tom & Helen Dugan, Samantha (Dugan) Gage and Brian Dugan

I remember sitting through many sermons and looking up at the stain glass while "Rev" was talking. I have so many fond memories I cannot possibly list them all. I am saddened for your loss, but so happy that he is home with Mrs. Maienshein now.
