Bill was one of kind! I had the pleasure of sharing an office with Bill at the Commerce Department. The Roman vs. Judge battle started the minute he walked in the door for the first time until the minute he left Commerce and beyond.

Bill was a man of integrity, honor, joy and laughter. What a pleasure to have known him and share a bit of his life with him.

Dear John and Michael, Dan M. sent out text about passing of your Dear Brother +William (Bill). So I started digging on the internet for Bill's obituary, and I discovered The Most Illustrious Obituary, your Father's. William D. Fox, Sr. (1928-2012). What an Impressive Man! What a Life! I was reading early comments/condolences/tributes for your brother. Bill touched positively so many young men. Your Father is a legend in Somerton/Saint Christopher Community. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Wishing well Bill's Family and extended Fox Family at this difficult time. RIP Coach. Vedran.

Dearest Billy Fox,
As an original member of the K & E crew, your friendship was much cherished by all of us. You always brought a sense of maturity, kindness, goodness, and moral certitude that helped balance out those of us who possessed few of those attributes back then! You fought to the end with the toughness of the great competitor you always were, and demonstrated a life spirit for all of us to emulate when our time comes calling. You were a good man here on earth Billy, and your spirit will never die with those of us who loved you. Rest in peace my brother, you made the world a better place for so many of us.

I had the honor and privilege to be a Father Judge Basketball manager from 1990-1993, this allowed me to work with and for the team and Coach Fox. I remember him not treating the managers any different then he treated the players. I really appreciated this. I was talking to a friend of mine from high school and I referred to Coach Fox as the "John Wooden" of Father Judge. Coach was a man of character worth imitating in my life. His example of gentleness and humility are what my education at Father Judge was all about.
