Ginny, Alan & Bill,
We just learned of your parents passing when a Christmas card was returned. Both Joy and I had reconnected with your parents when our mother died 5 years ago. They were both such a comfort to us at mom's service since we were so close to them when we were young and involved with youth group. We could not believe when our mom told us they had moved into Southampton Estates - I know mom enjoyed spending time with them and sharing dinners. Our hearts go out to you - your parents were such special people and such an important part of our growing up years.

My heart is full of love and sympathy for all of you as you grieve the loss of a very wonderful man: father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Bill Fricke was simply a wonderful man, and my life has been so enriched by knowing him.
Love,

I'm sorry to hear about your father / grandfather & great grandfather's passing & not long after your mother's passing. Mr & Mrs Fricke both were great people. When I was a child (just a few years ago of course) I remember playing in the little house, the attic & the BIG back/side yard & of course the hill in the front with Billy & his GI Joe's. Oh and how can I forget eating the string beans growing near the drive way. Allen & his buddies from college. I have alot of GOOD MEMORIES of the Fricke family. Even know it must be hard that both of your parents are now gone, it must bring you all some peace & comfort to know that they are together & at peace. My thoughts are with all of you. Joanne

To all the Fricke Family:
The Holtzman Family will always hold the memory of Bill in our hearts. Ginny and Bill were people who were around all our lives. They were good friends of our parents, Paul & Anne Holtzman. Their example of a true Christian life, humor and spirit of adventure will always be remembered.
For years Bill drove many of the Sew 'n Sew ladies to the Walnut Street theater. He was always around when someone needed a helping hand. Two examples of his dedicated friendship to my parents: Bill was the first to visit Anne when she arrived home from the hospital after having a pacemaker implanted. He came not only to welcome her home, but to support her by making sure that she understood how to test the pacemaker over the phone. When Paul died, Bill was determined to carry the cross at his funeral and to the grave. Ginny was mumbling under her breath to me that it was too much for him. But, true to form, he showed his sense of duty and dedication to his friend.
Our Dad alwys said, "That Bill Fricke! He sure is man with class!" How true!!
You are a family blessed to have had him in your lives. May your memories of him help you through this difficult time.

Dear Ginny and Family:
It was a privilege and a blessing to have known Mr. Fricke all of my life...he was gentle and kind...father-figure...teacher...friend. Life as I know it with Mr. Fricke, will never be the same without him.
May you all remember fondly someone who has been an inspiration in your life such as my Mr. Fricke. He contributed to who I am today...he made me recognize at a very young age who I was going to be. For that, I am forever grateful. May he now rest peacefully and eternally in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus and may his family find comfort and peace during this time.
"This is my friend, in whose sweet praise I all my days could gladly spend." ~ #458, Blue Hymnal ~
