This time of year when spring evenings were a little warmer and there was more daylight, we'd gather after supper before homework to shoot baskets in Billy Lotz's driveway with Teddy and GB and all the kids on that side of Wakeling Street - though the Kilroys might join in... Sometimes it morphed into Hide-n-Seek. Growing up with a retro childhood, playing in the back alleyway of "Northwood" with all these people remains a fond memory. And though we all moved away to our adult lives many many years ago, something of growing up with all those friends remains.... So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I will hold Ann (with whom I spent many hours playing dolls) and their family in the light.
