Gary Wilson Obituary
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Etta Lee (Yost) Wilson, his children Rob Wilson (Lana) and Tara Crum (Charles). Two grandchildren, Matthew Wilson and Charles Crum III.
Preceded in death also are his brother, Ivin Wilson and sister, Adeline Sutphin.
He worked as an air traffic controller with the FAA at National Airport (Reagan) before moving to the FAA center in Leesburg VA.
When he retired from the FAA in 1991, he became the Voter Registrar for Prince William County, VA until 2003.
Gary was foremost an animal lover, loved to read, walk, and especially dance. He enjoyed line and country dancing and more recently swing.
He was a member of the Manassas Church of Christ for 59 years. A graveside service will be at Quantico National Cemetery on December 4, 2024 at 11:00 am and is open to all who wish to attend.
In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to Toys for Tots.

Our sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Etta and the rest of Gary´s family. My wife (now departed) and I first met Gary and Etta many years ago while line dancing. We had many trips and cruises together over the years. Robin, my current partner, met Gary later in his life. Gary will truly be missed, May he rest in eternal peace. Mickey Poole & Robin Meade
