Lois Garrett Obituary
Mrs. Garrett was born March 28, 1935, in Logansport, Indiana, daughter of the late Harry Charles and Bertha Messersmith Mather. She was a member of Valley Central Church and was an Administrator for a Real Estate Office. She served in the United States Marine Corps.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Beeson Garrett whom she married on October 23, 1955, and her sister, Phyllis Smith.
Lois is survived by her sons, Gregory Garrett of New Market, VA, Douglas Garrett of Delaware, Jeffrey Garrett (Alisa) of North Carolina, Steven Garrett of Front Royal, VA; daughters, Lisa Myers (Jeffrey) of Pennsylvania, Rebecca Young (Mike) of Woodstock; brother, Larry Mather of Canyon Country, California; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Blue Ridge Hospice Care in memory of Lois.
