I used to live near the Fairfax family in Prince William County, once known as Manassas, Virginia, on Lake Jackson Road. My brother hung out with Warren and I was friends with Betty and Joyce, (Charlotte was a little older). If this is the same Fairfax family I´m so sorry for your loss, may Wayne rest in peace. My condolences to his wife and the whole Fairfax family. Peace be with you, Dreamer (Patrick) Ward, granddaughter to Max and Annie Laurie Collins.

Met Wayne many years ago while a reserve deputy.
I had Tommy Lewis replace our windows and siding several years ago and the second morning to my surprise, Wayne showed up to help Tommy.
I asked him if he had his fiddle with him and he grinned "yes".
Every morning between 6-7 am Wayne would stand under our huge pin oak and serenade the neighbors until Tommy showed up.
Cathy and Wayne will be missed.

I met Wayne when Sheriff Garrison hired him as a deputy sheriff! He was placed with me for training on the night shift! I was learning to play the banjo, and he said bring that thing in here and I´ll teach you to play! I never met a nicer gentleman. He was so proud to be working for the Sheriff´s office! Wish he could have stayed and retired with me! The Lord will welcome him, and enjoy his banjo and fiddle playing. I will surely miss you!

I met Wayne through a mutual friend while playing bluegrass. He was a kind soul and will be missed by many.

What an all around wonderful man ! I know him though Gene another fellow friend of mine . Wane was as nice and wonderful person as you can find and he always treated you with kind words and respect every single time I seen him .
