Monroe was a kind and caring man. A real treasure to know. I loved his smile. His dad Paul was a good friend of my brother and I remember Monroe as a child. He was always happy. He will be missed.

Monroe was also a treasure of info on the Owens Valley. Spent many times talking about the history of the Valley. Always, always loved to see him when we would dine out. Will miss his cheerful, smiling self. RIP, Monroe

We were so sad to hear the news. There has not been very many days that Monroe would be out walking Sassy and stop to talk. We are going to miss him so much. Sorry for your loss. Rest in peace Monroe. The Stoll family

God bless my friend and his family. I knew him as a Brother in Jesus and a generous, giving
Servant to others.

I am heart broken to read this. Monroe and I went to school together. He was always kind and genuine up until the last time I saw him at the bowling alley a couple years ago... he never changed. Truly a kind person. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace my friend. Love and prayers to all your loved ones.
