Audrey Kocher Obituary
She was born on Feb. 25, 1930 in Hale to the late James and Margaret (Graves) Wilson.
Audrey was a lifelong resident of the area and involved in so many things over the years. She was a dedicated member of the community and always on the go. Audrey was involved in the school board, Eagles Club, 4-H, FFA, Hale Fair, ambulance service, and even a Cub Scout leader.
During her personal time she enjoyed traveling, golfing, playing cards, gardening, feeding the birds, even though the bears seem to eat most of the bird feed. Audrey was a business leader in the community too where she owned and operated Kocher's Market.
Audrey is survived by her children, Terry, Connie (Jimi) Lowery, Charles (Cindy), and Kim; significant other, Al Evans; seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo Kocher (1981); and son, Jeff Kocher.
Services for Audrey will take place at Buresh Funeral Home Hale. Visitation is on Tuesday, Nov. 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral will be on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 11 a.m. with an hour of visitation beforehand. Interment will be at Esmond Evergreen Cemetery in Hale.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to your favorite non-profit and/or a donation to one of Audrey's favorites, the Iosco County Agricultural Society and the Hale Garden Club.

So sorry to hear of Audrey's passing. I remember being at Grandma and Grandpa's cabin in Long Lake and Audrey and Al brought the speedboat to the lake to take us for a ride. All the fun times with Uncle Craig, Aunt Connie, Lisa and Rodney. Lisa definitely hung out at the cabin more than Rodney, but oohh the memories! Thinking of you all in this difficult time.
