Beulah Barber Obituary

Beulah May Barber, 96 years old, of Hale passed away on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014.
She was born in Baldwin Township on April 27, 1917 to Joseph and Cordelia Montney. She loved horses, western movies and cooking and baking for the grandkids.
Beulah is survived by her daughters, Regina (Raymond) Betts of South Branch, Marcella (Lester) Ferguson of Hale, Barbara (Bill) Betts of Ortonville, Georgia Enders of South Branch and Sandra (Dennis) Johnson of Rapid River; sons, George L. Barber Jr. of Hale, Matthew (Sandy) Barber of Lupton, John (Kathy) Barber of Waterford and Steven L. Barber of Lupton; 30 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Barber Sr.
Visitation was held Sunday, Feb. 2 at Buresh Funeral Home, 121 S. Washington St., Hale. Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 3 at the funeral home with Pastor Rob Nordin officiating the service. Interment followed the service in Oak Grove Cemetery in South Branch. Those wishing to express words of sympathy may do so at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
