Bruce J. Myles

Bruce J. Myles, age 32, of East Tawas, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025, at his home.
He was born on July 23, 1992 in Tawas City to William and JoEllen Myles (Johnroe). Bruce graduated from Tawas Area Schools in 2011 and later attended Central Michigan University and Mid-Michigan Community College. His studies focused on graphic art and design along with background in marketing.
Bruce was very artistic and enjoyed drawing and painting. He also was skilled at cutting and polishing stones. Bruce loved music and playing his guitar as a hobby.
He was an avid golfer and a very accomplish hockey goalie. Bruce advanced to the travel hockey level and made wonderful memories winning tournaments with his team and soaking up the great camaraderie they had. His love for golf led him to spend most of his working career in that industry. Bruce wore many hats in the golf profession, and he was very good player.
Most importantly, he was a kind and compassionate person that was very loyal to his friends and family.
He is survived by the love of his life, his daughter Isabelle Myles, whom he has loved immensely for her first three years of her life. Bruce is also survived parents, William and JoEllen Myles of East Tawas; grandmother, Joyce Myles of Oscoda; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his fur baby and loyal companion, Max. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bruce Myles, and maternal grandparents, Joseph and Dorothy Johnroe.
