I have vivid memories of Carol, and of Gary , as we grew up together in Tawas. Gary and I ocassionally hunted together and played football on the very first Tawas Area football team- He was very lucky in love,I must say !
Carol, like her sisters ,was a vivaceous girl who could jitterbug and dance the like no other ! I remember taking her to the opening night of the Tawas Drive in. We double dated with Sharon Rose and my summer friend Dave Cook who borrowed his dad's Cadilac convertible for the ocassion. What an ocassion and what a night ! I even gave Carol a little goodnite kiss but never had the pleasure of dating her again.
Was that all over half a century ago... or maybe just yesterday ? ! xoxo RIP Carol

My childhood is filled with wonderful memories of this wonderful Aunt. It wasn't long ago that you sat beside my ailing Mom holding her hand and comforting her like the best sister ever. I loved her so. ... I will miss your beautiful smile and motherly advice. Will see you again in heaven. Love you Aunt Carol!!
Little Lillian (that's what she always called me)
