Charles Luther Kinsman

Charles Luther Kinsman of Grayling and Oscoda, a proud and loving husband, father, friend and believer in Christ Jesus, died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
He was born April 10, 1941 in Flint to Barney and Vera Kinsman.
He married Barbara J. Mariucci on Feb. 16, 1964. They were married 50 years.
Chuck served in the 1st Force Recon of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict.
He moved to Oscoda, was a vice president of the Oscoda-AuSable Chamber of Commerce, president of the Paul Bunyan Festival, lifetime member of the V.F.W. and owner, with his wife, of Bunyan Town Marina.
He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. One of his favorite things was spending time talking and enjoying his family and friends, whom he loved dearly.
He is survived by his loving wife Barb; his sister Marion; sister-in-law Betta; three children Tina (Daryl), Jeff (Laura) and Francie (Paul); and five wonderful grandchildren, Brooke, Savannah, Barby, Mackenna and Noah.
A memorial to celebrate his life and "birthday" will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Lovell's Chapel.
