Christopher Whisenant Obituary

Christopher C. Whisenant, 24, of Elkton died following an automobile accident Thursday, June 2, 2016 in Huron County.
He was born May 24, 1992 in Tawas City to David George Whisenant and Michelle Marie Lansdowne Whisenant.
Chris was part of the track team at Oscoda High School. He worked for Dugginstown Dairy as a milker and scraper. Chris enjoyed spending time with his friends. He loved going to the beach and enjoyed fishing. Camping and bonfires were highlights in his life. Chris was a very fun loving, caring and funny young man.
Chris is survived by his mother, Michelle (Jim) Kosinski of Cass City; father, David (Judy) Whisenant of Oscoda; daughter, Amberlin; siblings Sarah (Zach) Lee of Pontiac, Meagan Whisenant of Cass City, Lucas Lester of West Branch and Austin Whisenant of Oscoda; nephew Aden; stepbrothers Dustin (Angel) Clare of Oscoda, Tyler Kosinski of Sebewaing, James Kosinski, Jr. of Elkton and Steve Kosinski of Mt. Pleasant; stepsisters: Kristen (Juan) Kuyok of Wyoming, Erin Clare of Utica and Christi Redman of Elkton; grandmother Nita Lansdowne of Cass City; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
His fiancée, Audrie Dorsch, and their unborn baby, Willow Marie, also died in the accident. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Edgar (Wilma) Whisenant; Larry Lansdowne, also by his uncle, David Lansdowne.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 5, 2016, in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City, with Brad Speirs, Novesta Church of Christ, officiating. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
