Donelda Gail "Doni" Green

Donelda "Doni" Gail Green, age 82, of Oscoda, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Saginaw, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in AuSable Township, on Jan. 18, 1943 to the late C. H. and Elizabeth (Koepf) MacKenzie. She married the love of her life, Bert Green, on Dec. 31, 1960 and together, they cherished 58 years of friendship and memories.
Doni was a red-hearted American patriot with a strong passion for football and the Alabama Crimson Tide with an unstoppable "Roll Tide" spirit. Doni was a long time Oscoda Owl's booster member; she was a member of the 300 Bowling Club and was an avid bingo player.
Most of all, she loved spending time with her friends and family hanging out on the back porch and spending time with her Wednesday Girl's Night who helped her through some tough times over the past few years laughing and sharing tears.
She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She cherished her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and the time that she was able to spend with her family.
Donelda is survived by her loving sons, Butch (Lisa) Green, Mike (Judy) Green and Tony (Joni) Green; sisters, Alice (Bill) Parsons and Mae Fran Fjelsted; grandchildren, C.J., Eric (Desiree), Adam (Lindsey), Michael, Luke, Lauren (Kevin), Colton (Peyton Ann) and Patrick, Jake (Meagan), Megan (Wesley); great grandchildren, Stella, Lilly, Buzz, Rhett, MacKenzie, Olivia, Ryan, Jack, Ellie, Rhett, Henry, Sonny; and several nieces and nephews.
Donelda was preceded in death by her husband, Bert; brother, Dickey; sisters, Marie and Elaine and brother-in-law, Lyle Fjelsted.
