Frances Niko Obituary
Frances was born Oct. 11, 1932, in Chesaning to the late Lyman Richter and Bertha Muffet. She married Steve Niko on Nov. 30, 1957, in Chesaning and together they raised three children.
Frances was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She always provided unconditional support and love for her family, friends, and neighbors. Her greatest joys in life were crafting, fishing, playing card games, cooking, tending to her horses and above all spending time with her loved ones.
Frances is survived by her children Steve (Debbie) Niko and Elaine Shugart; eight grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Steve Niko; her eight siblings; her eldest son, Robert Welsh; and great grandson, John Welsh.
Frances was compassionate and loved fiercely. She will be greatly missed and will live forever within the hearts of the many lives she has touched.
