Julia Orlando Obituary
She was born the daughter of John and Emily Filipowicz in Michigan on Dec. 18, 1953. Julia enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening. She married her best friend Ross Orlando (owner of Ross' hair salon in Tawas City) on July 13, 1996 in Utica, and together they shared 19 years of marriage.
Julia is survived by her husband; her son, Troy (Amy) Burris; her siblings, John Filipowicz, Christine Dillion and Connie Filipowicz; and her three grandchildren, Emily, Cody and Justin; and one great-grandchild. Julia was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in East Tawas. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Orlando family wishes. Condolences may be shared at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
