Larry COHEN Obituary
Suddenly, on Sunday, January 26, 2014. Beloved husband of Edna Shuster. Loving father and father-in-law of Arnold and Marnie, Irwin and Reesa, Mitch and Ali, Jerry and Jessica. Cherished Zaida of Lianna, Noah, Rachel, Jake, Rebecca, Julien, Sophie, and Lilly. Dearest brother-in-law of Marcia Shuster and uncle of Heidi, Brahm, Loren and their families. Brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. Special friend of David and Gisele Levine, and Sam Mitnick. Larry will be sadly missed by his family, friends, many colleagues in the pharmacy community, and all who knew him. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Emergency Department, 5 South and the I.C.U. at St. Mary's Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, January 28 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva strictly private. Contributions in his memory may be made to the "Edna and Larry Cohen Fund for Bialik's Leo Roskies Library", (514) 731-3841, ext. 263.

Dear Edna, Arnold, Irwin, Mitch and Jerry and family,
I was very sorry to learn of Larry's sudden passing. He was a wonderful man - a great guy!
His modesty, his strong personal, family and community values, his uncommon decency and warmth, are qualities both precious and rare.
How lucky you were to have had him you your lives, and therefore how profound your loss!

Good bye Larry, my dear friend. We sang together in Northern Comfort for 10 years, and in the group, we were known as the 'Bookends', for obvious reasons. Well, one bookend is gone, and the books now lean to the left. I'll miss you Larry. RIP and condolences to Edna and the family.
