Marcella Bender Obituary

Marcella Ann Bender, age 70 years young, passed away Nov. 4, 2015 at her home in Whittemore.
Marcella was born Oct. 30, 1945 in Omer to the late William Bessey and the late Ella Pearl Bessey (nee Wogaman) Haight.
Marcella is survived by her husband, James L. Bender of Whittemore; her children and grandchildren, son, Michael (Michelle) Peterson and his children James (Alicia) Peterson and Cara Peterson, daughter, Susan (Mike) Ellis and their children, Joshua, Matthew and Bryanna Ellis, daughter, Theresa (Scott) Conner and her children, Paige and Scotty McElroy; and her siblings, Lawrence Bessey, Dale (Myrna) Bessey, Samuel (Karen) Bessey, Daniel Bessey, Annabel Pringle and Lillian Smith; plus many nieces and nephews.
As well as her parents, Marcella was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Ralph Pringle and Claude Smith.
Marcella will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends who cherished her and loved her dearly.
Marcella's funeral was held Nov. 7 at Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City.
