Raymond Morris Obituary

Raymond L. Morris, age 74, of Oscoda died on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013 at his home.
He was born in Detroit on July 11, 1939 to the late Alvin and Eva Morris (nee Groves). Raymond retired from the Chrysler Corporation in 1984 and moved to Oscoda from Detroit. He enjoyed woodworking, yard work and especially singing karaoke at the Oscoda Eagles Club where he was known as "Papa Ray."
Raymond is survived by his wife, Judy, whom he married on March 18, 1961 in Centerline. Also surviving are his two sons, Dean (Nadia) Morris of Oscoda and Daniel Morris of New Mexico; granddaughter, Madison Morris of California; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog, Ginger.
A memorial service will be held in the spring Memorials may be directed to Heartland Hospice and condolences may be offered at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
