Roger Jang Linn

Roger Jang Linn, age 88, of Tawas City, and North Fort Myers, Fla. for over 20 years, died peacefully under the loving care of his family and hospice on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025 in Howell. He was born the son of Quincy and Alice (Wong) Linn in Detroit on April 2, 1937.
Roger graduated from Redford High School in 1955 and later entered the tool and die apprenticeship program and graduated as a Journeyman. Roger furthered his education attending Eastern Michigan University and earned his Bachelor's degree. He then taught one year high school at Plymouth High School before becoming an Engineer for the Ford Motor Company working mainly at the Wixom, Saline and Dearborn Plants before he retired in 1991.
In his spare time Roger was likely to be found on the golf course, walking in town, fishing or hunting. He loved being outdoors and spending time traveling.
Roger is survived by his brothers, Rodney Linn and Robin (Pamela) Linn; sister-in-law, Christine Linn; nieces and nephews, Denise, Christopher (Rita), Renee, Sascha, Stephanie, Brian, Derek and Scott (Kristin); and his great nephews, Christopher, Ethan and Parker; and great nieces, Renata, Jasmine, Olivia and Maria; great-great niece Abby; and great-great nephews, Cooper and four-week-old Remington, whom he saw days before he passed putting the biggest smile on his face as he held his precious hand.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jane, whom together they shared 60 years of marriage before she died on Dec. 12, 2023.
Per Roger's wishes cremation has taken place and memorial contributions may be made in has name to Arbor Hospice, 2366 Oak Valley Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48103 and the American Cancer Society.
