William Hasse Obituary

William C. Hasse, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, of Greenbush passed away early Friday morning, Aug. 29 at Lakeview Manor in Tawas City, at the age of 78.
He was born in Saginaw on March 18, 1936 to the late William and Sybil Hasse (nee McManus). Bill was a devoted Tiger baseball fan and watched every game he could. He also enjoyed many a trip down to Tiger Stadium to watch his beloved Tigers. Bill was a hard worker very rarely ever missing a day of work.
He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Elaine (Musselman) Hasse; two daughters and two sons, Debra Shimel of Bridgeport, Diane Teenier of Rochester Hills, Billy Hasse of Greenbush and Harry (Debbie) Varney of Woodburn, Ky.; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and his loving extended family at Lakeview Manor. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by son, Mike Varney; sister, Donna Shuler; and brother, Duane Hasse.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Saginaw. Memorials may be directed to the family and condolences may be offered at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
