Adam Neese Obituary

Adam R. Neese Adam R. Neese, 24, of Bluffton, SC, died unexpectedly July 15, 2018. He was born December 15, 1993 in Baton Rouge, LA, son of Cliff J. Neese, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL and Deborah Gawthrop Neese of Hendersonville, NC. He attended Episcopal School in Baton Rouge, LA, The Key School and Carolina Day High School in Asheville, NC. After attending LSU and Roanoke College, Adam graduated with a B.S. in Hospitality Management from University of South Carolina at Beaufort in Bluffton. He was a Territory Sales Manager for EcoLab. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed LSU sports, snowboarding, watersports and art. He was a member of Phi Kappa Psi. Adam is survived by his parents and his maternal grandfather, John D. Gawthrop of Gassaway, WV; uncle and aunt, Walter and Penny Mize, Asheville, NC; cousin, Kaley Mize, Asheville, NC; aunt, Christine Neese, Prairieville, LA; cousin, Jonathan Rossi, Prairieville, LA. Preceded in death by: Maternal Grandmother: JoAnn Gibson Gawthrop, Gassaway, WV; Paternal Grandmother: Anne Fowler Neese, Gonzales, LA; Paternal Grandfather: Cliff J. Neese, Sr., Gonzales, LA. His memory remains alive in many friends and family. A memorial and life celebration to honor Adam will take place at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 538 Tracy Grove Road, Hendersonville, NC on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow. Adam was a tenderhearted, warm, grateful and compassionate young man. His sense of humor and twinkle in his eye warmed each heart he touched. He was a bright light in this world that lit up each person he was around. Adam's depth of character and heart for others from young to old will be missed. Rest easy in lavender fields and relax, our sweet son. You have made it home.

I did not have a chance to meet Adam,but I live directly across from his memoriam on Lake Point and have gotten to know a little more about the loving kind soul he certainly is thru a few of his friends.
