December 25, 1930 - June 22, 2022
Hilton Head Island, South Carolina - Alice L. Cross (91) 10 year resident of The Seabrook of Hilton Head, SC left for her heavenly home on 06/22/2022 at home with her family by her side. She was predeceased by three of her children, Larry, Robert and Jeffrey. She leaves behind her husband Harold (Dick) of 75 years as well as her two remaining children David (Donna) of NH and Susan of VA.
She also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren and lifelong friends. She is remembered as a trusted friend, quilter, accomplished fisherwoman, aspiring actress, avid Duke Basketball fan and an overall lover of life and her Lord Jesus Christ.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday June 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with reception to follow at the First Baptist Church of Hilton Head, 100 South Forest Beach Dr., Hilton Head, SC 29928. A graveside memorial will be held at a later date in Hampden, ME.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice of Beaufort for their compassionate and attentive care.

We are so happy we were able to share in your 75th and we knew it was our goodbye to Alice. She was such a gracious lady with a fun sense of humor. We were blessed to know her and happy to be assured she is with her Heavenly Father.

I remember Alice as a wonderful mother and steady and loving wife. I am so sorry I cannot be at her service, but my thoughts are with you, Harold. Our years living and supporting each other in Hampden Highlands bring comforting and inspiring memories.
