Alvin, thank you for helping us find our Kitty. I appreciate all of the work you´ve done at our home. Mostly, I enjoyed our car rides together to see your mom in the hospital, to the gas station, etc. Our talks were filled with knowledge about the island, it´s history, your high school and college years, but mostly, about your family. You knew so much about the family you loved and we´re proud to be a part of, evidenced by the stories you shared. You were a proud brother, son grandson and great-grandson as your words so often relayed. I´m going to miss the history lessons and our rides togethe until we meet again.

Alvin and I were friends. I live one street over in Peregrine Point. Alvin would so some work for me from time to time. He was always very appreciative. He would say Mr. Ed you're always looking out for me. I tried to!! I would give Alvin rides from time to time. We would always be singing or at least I would listen to him sing. He had a great voice!!! I was impressed! Alvin also broke down crying several times around me. He sure missed and loved his dad!!!

I saw Alvin Friday, gave him a cold Coca Cola, he liked them as much as me! I saw him walking on Saturday and stopped and picked him up and took him home. Sunday afternoon he came to my door, i was napping, the dogs went crazy as he was calling Mr Ed Mr Ed. Being startled I said Alvin, not a good time. I heard Monday morning that he was gone. I'm so very sorry, I truly considered Alvin my friend! I trust he is in a better place!
