Tom, Jimmy, Teresa... Donna was my dearest friend.. There are no words to describe the sadness and emptiness I feel now that she is no longer with us. Donna was there for me always, we laughed and cried together for all those years I lived on Hilton Head. Her loving friendship, generosity and loyalty helped me through some toughest moments of my life. I can't even imagine what would I have done without her.
I worried about Donna's health for some time now...but she was yet again too proud and loving in her pain... I know and understand.
Our birthdays were so close together we never stopped joking calling each other "old lady" We both had so much fun doing it......
Donna was so proud of Jimmy and his work and so happy that Teresa is good mother to Roman and Chloe. Tom was too on agenda all the time of course, as she would never failed to praise him telling me how much help Tom was to her.
Indeed, I can only wonder how could it be there was so much love in Donna's tiny, slim physique...I remain humbled by being her friend and will always remember her wit and her smile.

The photo I found was taken by our dear friend Steven one January on Daufuskie Island.

Tom, James and Theresa....only kind words to say of Donna.....several years ago I ran into her in Food Lion....she was so proud of you James...you had just taken a job with a cruise ship in the Mediteranan....and Teresa had one baby boy.......Her smith and goodness and never ending kindness will be remembered. I am only sorry that I did not hear of the memorial time until it was too late to make it. My heart was there though.
