Douglas Cleveland MacLeod

May 6, 1949 - March 18, 2025

Arvada, Colorado - Douglas Cleveland MacLeod passed away on March 18, 2025 at his home in Arvada, CO at the age of 75. Born in Manchester, NH, Doug was a lifelong Boston sports fan, skier and skilled carpenter.

Doug spent many years of his adult life living on Hilton Head Island, SC where he raised his 2 children. He moved to Colorado in 2011 to be closer to his kids and grandkids who were the lights of his life. His laughter, stories, love of good music and great books will be greatly missed.

Doug was predeceased by his parents, Bob and Irene MacLeod; his two brothers, Skip and Ken MacLeod; and his son in law Lawton Davis. Surviving are his daughter Laura MacLeod Davis and her children Logan & Colby; his son Sam MacLeod and fiancée Ashley Ekstrom; his brother Steve MacLeod and wife Pam; his sister in laws Meg MacLeod and Sandi MacLeod, his former wife Jody MacLeod; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Doug's life will be celebrated on July 27th from 1-5 at the Iron Furnace Brewery in Franconia, NH.

The Bishop and MacLeod brothers spent many days, weeks, months and years together in Amherst together. Doug was always a good friend and we enjoyed playing baseball, basketball and yes even golf in his back yard!
