Elaine Walbrecker Obituary

Elaine "Ji" Walbrecker Ji died as she lived: peacefully surrounded by her loving husband, Al, and devoted son, Al, III on August 2, 2008. Although she is no longer present in the body, her presence is evident in the many creative expressions of love and joy she left behind. Ji was very active in the community, serving the Historical Society and the Hospital and Symphony Auxiliaries. She was a Master Gardener and President of the Young Women's Club. Ji served on the board of directors of the Central Market House and was a member of the Country Club of York and the Sea Pines Country Club. She is a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and Providence Presbyterian Church. Services will be held Friday, Aug. 8 at Etzweiler Funeral Home, York, PA. Visitation at 10 a.m. and service at 11 a.m. A memorial service will be held at Providence Presbyterian Church (HHI) at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 19.
