Jeffrey Robert Weiss, age 57 of Beaufort, SC, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, October 29th. Jeff was born January 16, 1967, in Toledo, OH, to Thomas and Donna Weiss. Jeff graduated from Ottawa Hills High School, attended Ohio University, and then utilized his artistic talents towards a career building beautiful stone and brick hardscapes for both homes and commercial properties in Atlanta, GA and Bluffton, SC.
Jeff was a dedicated team leader for the last 11 years at Year Round Pool, where he managed a team that built custom pools and hardscapes for homes and communities in Hilton Head, SC and the surrounding areas.
Jeff loved his family, friends, and in this EXACT order: the Detroit Red Wings, the Cleveland Browns, Ohio State University football, Notre Dame football, and the Montreal Canadiens.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Thomas R. Weiss. He is survived by his Mother, Donna M. Weiss, sisters, Karen Weiss, Jill (Shawn) Flegm, Tracy (Chris) Smith, nieces, Lauren Nowakowski, Kara Nowakowski, Sydney Flegm, and nephew, Nick Flegm.
A private family memorial event will be held to celebrate Jeff's life.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association or attend a sporting event in honor of Jeff's life. GO WINGS!

To all the Weiss family, I am very sorry to hear this news. Too many stories from our Ottawa Hills days to share. From The Club, to playing on the same OHHS hockey team, to Ohio U, myself and many others will fondly remember Jeff and all the good times we had together. He will be missed.
